Is Prathap Pothen’s bad remarks are about Jayaram..?

Actor Prathap Pothen’s latest status is now become a source of controversy in mollywood as in that status he had described an actor in Malayalam and calls him a racist based on some comments he had made earlier. Pratap Pothen In his Facebook status Says that he had a chat with a mimicry artist and Pothen says that actor had become a star only because his first ever role was a in film with  Pratp Pothen’s brother Hari Pothen’s company.

Later this actor didn’t turn up even for Hari Pothen’s funeral and didn’t have the decency to send a condolence message as well after the demise of Hari Pothen whose company introduced him. Next Pothen alleges that this actor then through some of his contacts became a star in mollywood and made a lot of money acting in films. Pothen says sarcastically here that this actor thought himself to be Marlon Brando of our Industry. Pratap Pothen says that now a days this actor can’t do much because he is old and he can only mimic he somehow manages to get a Padmashree award and Pothen says that too he got using money.

Pothen says that it is great considering an uncultured guy without doing shit can get honour like Padmashree makes him laugh and later this actor who is an idiot as well and who hasn’t read one book in his life thinks that he is a super star. Pothen says that Mollywood has only two Super stars and they are Mohanlal and Mammootty and no one else.
But Pothen said the serious allegations next as he said that this actor is a racist too who talks bad about the colour of people in tamilnadu where he lives.

Pratap Pothen alleges that this actor calls the women of the great state of Tamilnadu as black and like Buffaloes and Pothen says that he needs to be kicked out from that state where he lives and talking bad about the people there. Pratap pothen ends his status by saying to that actor to grow up and learn to respect fellow beings and don’t be a moron anymore.

And there are serious speculations going around that Pratap had intended actor Jayaram in this status as his description about the beginning of the actor’s career seems to the same with Jayaram’s case.

Its Nivin Pauly Vs Nivin Pauly this week in Mollywood

Young actor Nivin Pauly is on a roll with continuous super hits and from last year whatever he touches turns to gold. He had strike a purple patch in his career with the film named 1983 from last year beginning and still continues to be the most valuable young actor in Kerala with hits like Oru Vadakkan Selfie this summer of 2015. Now he is waiting for his two releases and they are Premam conceived by Alphons Puthren and Ivide conceived by Shyama Prasad.

This weekend is going to be one of the best in Nivin Pauly’s career as both the films mentioned above is going to hit the screens on this May 29. It will be a Nivin Pauly Vs Nivin Pauly Situation in mollywood Box office this weekend. Both films are handling different themes and the characters Nivin playing is also completely different from each other. In Premam the importance is given to comedy and romance as the title suggests and Ivide will be an investigation/crime thriller happening in America. In Ivide he is playing the lead along with the young super star of Mollywood Prithviraj.

In premam his pair will be a debutant named Anupama Parameshwaran and news is coming in that it may have two other heroines as well. Other actors in Premam are Maniyan Pillai Raju, Vinay Fortt, Subin Sheheer, Shabareesh Varma etc and it is financed by director Anwar Rasheed under his banner of Anwar Rasheed entertainment. Anand C Chandran is the DOP of the film and Rajesh Murukeshan had composed the songs for this flick.

In Shyamprasad’s first Investigation thriller film named Ivide it is heard that Nivin is coming as the Villain opposite Prithviraj and Bhavan also doing a key role in this crime thriller as well. The screen writing for this flick is done by Ajay Venugopal and many foreign technicians are behind this movie as well which may elevate the films technical quality to another level. The flick is financed by Dr Saji Kumar under the banner of Dharmik Productions and it will be a Gopi Sundar musical film.

Our cinema industry and may be the viewers as well is masters in forgetting the ones who were a part of industry and a part of lives through the characters they played before they leave the stage or left from this world. We had seen many examples for it in recent times and an addition to that list recently is Late actor Oduvil Unnikrishnan. As per a news came in the online page of Asianet News about the sad state of Late actor Oduvil Unnikrishnan’s family. Oduvil Unnikrishnan was one of the finest actors in our industry and acted in many a number films here. He was an integral part of every mollywood films from his debut and even in his last years as well.

But after his death no one is there for his family and no one is even enquirers about how his family is doing without him. Blame is not only for his colleagues but also for the viewers as well who also just ignored this great artist. Now his wife Padmaja and daughter Padmini is struggling to live and their only source of income is the 1000 rupees which they getting from Chalachithra academy every month and also the pension for handicap people receiving by his grandson. This great actor Oduvil Unnikrishanan is the one who had received the state award for best actor twice and even government is not doing anything to save his family.

The family need rupees 15000 for the treatment his wife and grandson alone in a month and their only solace is that they managed to get back their house which was pledged to take loan for the treatment of Oduvil Unnikrishnan. His grandson is mentally retarded and fir that he receives a pension from Government. But that amount is not enough for a family who was living in so poor condition.

The sad thing is that AMMA, the association of Malayalam movie artists also not paid any attention to the family of this great artist after his death and we all have to come forward and help the family of this great artist who had given us lots of moments of joy through his performances.

Director V K Prakash is now busy with the post production works of his latest venture named Nirnnayakam starring Asif Ali and written by the popular screenplay writing duo of Mollywood Bobby-Sanjay, the brothers. The flick is all set to grace the silver screens on the first week of june and said to be a different film from which  V K Prakash had done in his career and also something very special for Asif Ali as well.

V K Praksh told the media about the relevance of this film in our society in the light of the issues happening in and around us now specially with regard to the judiciary. Judiciary is said to be one of the main pillars of our democracy and common people’s only hope is on this institution to get them the justice. But now-a-days it had become a sort of a wealthy man’s fort in the light of the judicial issues regarding the cases of Salman Khan and also Jaya Lalitha. For people who had money with them, a court order does not seem to be an important or key one.

V K Prakash tells that in this situation this film Nirnnayakam has a lot of relevance as it tells the story of how a court order affects the life of a young man in this society. V K P says that our youngsters are going through a lot of problems in these days and many of them are very confused in facing these problems as well. V K Prakash said that this film was born from a sentence told by the script writers and after writing the script they felt that this film have to reach in front of the people and this is the right time for that.

V k Prakash Said that they had done some research works among the people before the film starts and most of the people said during that research that they don’t believe in our judicial system as people with money can easily escape from all laws and lead a life in way they wants. But VKP says that he personally thinks that our court has still relevance in the society and still it has many positive values.

Mammootty refused to act With Mohanlal says Shaji Kailas

A startling revelation was made by Shaji Kailas in an interview to an online media named South Live and in that interview Shaji Kailas said about what happened to his project which was announced last year with Mohanlal and Mammootty in the lead and scripted by Both Ranjith and Renji Panicker. Shaji Kailas announced that this year he will make a comeback to mollywood after the gap of some years with a mass entertainer and that too a flick having both the Universal star Mohanlal and Mega star Mammootty in the lead.

But in this interview to South Live Shaji said that it was dropped because Mammootty was refused to act along with Mohanlal. Mammootty and Mohanlal have said to great friends in their personal life even though their fans are fighting with each other in the social media. And this revelation of Shaji Kailas gives us the fact that it they are not sharing a good relationship.

It is to be noted that Mohanlal and Suresh Gopi had given the biggest hits for Shaji Kailas. Ranjith had wrote blockbusters for Mohanlal and Renji Panicker had wrote blockbusters mostly for Suresh Gopi directed by Shaji Kailas. We don’t know whether that may be the reason for the refusal of Mammootty from the film as he feared that when Ranjith and Renji Panicker writing the script Mohanlal will have more chance to shine in the film than him.

But Shaji Kailas said that they had created two superb characters for both the actors and Mohanlal had agreed to do the role enthusiastically and also said that he will produce the film as well. But Mammootty refused to act and he said that he don’t want to act along with Mohanlal. Then Ranjith and Renji Panicker asked him to drop that project and don’t think about it as well.

Shaji Kailas said that mollywood film lovers still want to see films like Narasimham and they all want to see Shaji Kailas- Mohanlal combination or Shaji Kailas- Suresh Gopi combination. Even Mohanlal is always ready to do a film with him and he loves to do Mass characters.  Anyway this revelation will affect Mammootty’s image very badly as he is already landed in another controversy regarding the Asianet television awards in which he reportedly insulted the television artist openly.

Mega star Mammootty is in new controversy now as the reports are coming in which says that he had insulted the Serial artists in our industry during an award function organized by Asianet and it is now became the hot topic in our medias and in social media circles. Mammootty is always termed as a short tempered person and he was involved in many controversies like this in the past too which include beating his own fan in Malappuram and also misbehaving to his own fans at Qatar who waited for him to cut a cake for a celebration and that too for many hours. Even his fans publicly come out and expressed their anger towards him in that issue. We still don’t even has much clarity about what was the real scenario behind that issue as it was somehow managed to hide by some well- wishers of Mammootty as some media says.

The Asianet Television awards 2015 were held at Angamaly few days back and Mammootty was the chief guest in that ceremony. There he openly insulted the award recipients by asking Asianet that what is the criteria for them to select the ones who got these awards and he said that he completely disapproves the methods and criteria by them. He said that they are giving awards only to satisfy everyone who works for them and do not give it to the deserved ones. That is a bit like insulting the ones who got the awards and it is like telling that they don’t deserve to get that recognition. All of them who were there was really upset about Mammootty’s statement and they had openly said their objection against Mammootty’s statement as well.

Reports also says that Mammootty had really Mocked the award recipients while declaring the awards by giving stress to the word “best” and it had really made the television management and the artists upset and the displeasure was clearly on their face as well.Mammootty was also seen very restless during the ceremony and left immediately after giving the best actor award to Kishor Sathya and the reports says that Mammootty had said that he did not received any money from the television management and so that he can’t be there for too long as well.

He said to have said not so well against the promo of a new program by Mukesh in Asianet as well. Best director award winner and popular serial directors like Sujith Sundar and Praveen Kadakkavoor also expressed displeasure regarding the insulting behavior of Mammootty against the Serial artists of our state.

Actor and Super star Suresh Gopi is now on the wrong side of news after many positive news and image he created among the public with his well -mannered behavior, kind gestures, charity to poor people etc. Recently he I had been appointed as the chairman of National film Development Corporation which equal to a cabinet rank in the central government as well.

But a good cinema and the dreams of a young director is sleeping in the boxes only because suresh gopi refused to lend his voice to the parts he had acted in the film. Suresh Gopi reportedly refused to dub for the film because of the salary problem. The film is in the boxes for almost 5 years and the name of the film is Kavyam and the one who conceived it was Aneesh Varma. Suresh Gopi’s salary at the time of the shooting of the film was rupees 30 lakhs and they had given rupees 20 lakhs to him after the shooting. Because of the financial problems they cannot be able to give the due 10 lakhs after the shoot.

Then the actor said that he will dub for the film only if they give him the remaining 10 lakhs. After 2 years the team behind the film collected 10 lakhs rupees and approached Suresh Gopi. To the disappointment of them the actor told them that now his salary has increased and he asked 70 lakhs rupees instead of 10 lakhs. That made them miserable and the film is still in the box and the dreams of a young man is burning to ashes due to the adamant nature of a star. Aneesh varama said that he don’t have that much money with him and now he is waiting for the kindness of Suresh Gopi to complete the dubbing of the film and release the film before the malayali audience.

Aneesh varma has assisted director Jayaraj from Johny walker to Kannaki and he also produced the film named Thilakkam starred Dileep and Kavya conceived by Jayaraj. Then he had directed a Tamil film named Annai Illam and his latest directorial venture is Yathra Chodikkathe starring Kalabhavan Mani. This report is came in the Mangalam online page.

Vinay Govind had done only one film named Kili Poyi which had young star Asif Ali and Aju Varghese in the lead roles. Even though the film had not done very well at box office the skills of this new director was noticed by everyone as he had given a completely fresh feel in all aspects of the film including the treatment of the story to its great execution. The film is only for youths and that cannot guarantee you a success in box office as the family audience stays away from the theaters. That may well be the reason why Kili Poyi does not able to do much in the box office. Kili Poyi is for youths and also a quite entertaining one as well.

The director had now all set to start his next venture which has titled Amar Chithra Gadha and he had roped in Nivin Pauly the most valuable young star in mollywood now to play the lead role in the film. Vinay Govind himself had announced about the project through his facebook page and he said that the shooting of the flick will start by the end of this year and the main locations of the flick will be darjiling and Cochin. In this flick Aju Varghese and Saiju Kuruppu will also play key roles along with Nivin Pauly and the other artists are yet to be decided.

This flick will be financed by Seven arts International and Vivek Renjith will write down the screenplay.  The DOP of the flick will be Pradeep M Varma. Vinay Govind said that his new flick will not have any controversial subject like that of his first film and this will be a light hearted entertainer. This will be a flick for all including family audience and youngsters unlike his first film which had only targeted youngsters.

Vinay succeeded in creating waves among youngsters with his first venture and now he is all set to make waves among the family audience as well. Nivin Pauly is now busy with Action Hero Biju and also waiting for the releases like Premam and Ivide which will hit the screens on May 28th and May 29 th respectively.
