Tollywood actor Prabhas is now a popular star all over India after his performance in the movie Baahubali. The actor is now busy shooting for the second part of the movie, Baahubali : The Conclusion.

In a recent interview, Prabhas was all praise about Mollywood’s big M’s Mohanlal and Mammootty. In the interview, he said that he has watched many movies of the two superstars and both of them have inspired him as an actor with their performances.

Prabhas also added that he recently met Mohanlal during an event and the actor was very cool and accommodative.

Bahubali 2 The Conclusion is a much awaited movie that is slated for a summer release next year. Directed by SS Rajamouli, the film will hit theatres in April 2017.

The magnum opus is said to be in its final shooting stage with two more songs and a couple of action sequences. Simultaneously the VFX works are also going on.

Recently the first look poster of the movie was released during the MAMI film festival in Mumbai.

The movie also stars Rana Daggubati, Sathyaraj, Anushka Shetty, Tammanah and Ramya Krishnan playing other important roles.

The first part, Baahubali The beginning was a smashing hit and ended up as one of the country’s biggest blockbusters ever.

Mohanlal starrer Pulimurugan continues to create new records in the Kerala Box Office.

It is official now that Pulimurugan has beaten the Kerala collection records of Drishyam and now has become the highest grossing Malayalam movie in Kerala.

Pulimurugan has broken the Kerala collections of Drishyam’s 190 day run in just two-three weeks of its release. This is indeed a remarkable achievement for the team of Pulimurugan.

As per reports, Pulimurugan now has collected 45 crores from Kerala alone. Drishyam has collected 44 crores from its massive 190 day run. Ennu Ninte Moideen stands third with an amount of around 41.9 crores. Nivin Pauly starrer Premam is the next in the list with an amount of around 40 crores.

Veeram is the most expensive movie ever made in Mollywood. This epic drama is made on a massive budget of 35 crores.

The movie is the fifth installment in director Jayaraj’s Navarasa series. It is an epic historical drama, adapted from legendary poet Shakespear’s classic Macbeth.

Bollywood actor Kunal Kapoor is playing the lead role in the movie. He is essaying the role of historic character Chanthu Chekavar in the movie.

Director Jayaraj had earlier assured that Veeram will collect around 100 crores from the box office.

The trailer shows crisply cut shots of sword fights and Kalaripayattu. Kunal Kapoor looks majestic as the warrior with his long hair and chiselled body.

RS Vimal who made his debut through the romantic blockbuster Ennu Ninte Moideen, few months back announced that he will be doing a movie based on the life of historic character Karnan with Young Super Star Prithviraj Sukumaran playing the lead role.

At the same time actor-writer P Sreekumar had also announced that he will be writing a script for a movie based on the historical life of Karnan. He said that Mammootty will playing the epic character in his movie.

National award winning filmmaker Madhupal was said to be directing this movie. P Sreekumar also said that he had been working on this project for years now and the scripting is in its finishing stages.

But there has been no official confirmation about the movie as of now. Social media is abuzz with questions about Mammootty’s Karnan. There is an uncertainty regarding the movie in all the movie discussion circles and within the industry.

It has to be noted that Mammootty has not mentioned about the movie in any media interactions or events.

Mammootty meanwhile is busy shooting for The Great Father directed by debutant Haneef Adeni which is produced by August Cinemas.

He has also signed for new projects with Shafi, a mass entertainer with ace director Ranjith titled Vamban, a movie with Akhil Paul and another movie with 7th day fame Shyam Dhar.

Director RS Vimal in a recent media interaction announced that the movie will be made on a large scale with a whopping budget of 300 crores. The makers are also trying to rope in top stars from other industries. This movie is planned as a pan Indian one with release in multiple languages.
