Master director Shankar is now busy with his project Enthiran 2 starring Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar in the lead role. It is the biggest budget film ever in India and as per reports its budget is above 400 crores.The first part of this film named Enthiran was a huge success starred by Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai in the lead. Rajinikanth will join the sets after finishing his film named Kabali directed by Pa Renjith.
But the news that is doing its round now in social Media is that, Shankar is planning to rope in Ilaya Thalapathy Vijay and Chiyan Vikram in his next flick. If the news comes true, then it will be a great treat for the film lovers of South India and also for the fans of both Vijay and Vikram.

The news is not an officially confirmed one. Vijay had now completed Theri directed by Atlee and will soon join the Bharathan film. Vikarm is doing the film named Irumugan now. Both actors had earlier worked with Shankar. Vijay had worked with Shankar in the film named Nanpan which was a remake of blockbuster Hindi film named 3 Idiots.
Vikarm had done two films with Shankar and they are Annyan and Ai. Both had got great attention from the film lovers all around India. So if Ilayathalapathy and Chiyan comes together for the first time in a film and that too directed by Shankar, then it will be a huge one for the fans for sure.

White, the upcoming Malayalam film directed by Uday Ananthan, will be the Vishu release of Megastar Mammootty. Popular Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi is playing the female in this film and for that reason the film had invited great attention from the audience. This film is the first out and out production venture of Eros International in Malayalam and the main locations where the film shot was Budapest and London.
Kerala and Bangalore also used in the film as its locations. This will be another big budget film among the big films coming this Vishu. The screenplay of this film is written by Uday Ananthan, Nandini Valsan and Praveen Balakrishnan in association and the original music score and songs were composed by popular music director Rahul Raj. The film is edited by Achu Vijayan and the Direction of Photography is done by Ganesh Menon as well. As per reports, the film is based more on romance and its plot deals with the situation in which a man in his middle ages fall for a woman who is very young.

This will be Uday Ananthan’s third film and first one with Mammootty in the lead. His first film was Pranayakaalam with Ajmal Ameer and Vimala Raman in the lead. Then he had directed a film named Mrithyunjayam , which was a section of the anthology film named Kerala Café helmed by Renjith.
Mammootty plays the character named Prakash Roy in this film whereas Huma Qureshi playing the character named Roshni Menon. As per reports came earlier, South Indian popular actress Trisha was approached to play the role played Huma Qureshi now.

Hallelooya is an upcoming Malayalam film directed by debutant Sudhi Anna and starred by popular actor Narain. The film is coming with a never seen before trailer launch announcement which itself gives a good anticipation to wait for the trailer and the film itself to grace the silver screen. The trailer of the film will launch today at 7 pm night and the announcement of the trailer launch was made in such a way that they had invited us for a wedding.
They said their daughter named Hallelooya (cinema trailer) will be married off to YouTube, who will be the bridegroom from the family of Google at 7 Pm on Thursday. So they are invited all of us to see the blissful moment and requested us to bless the couple with our likes and shares. The Invitation is by best compliments from director Sudhi Anna, Producer Surendran K M and from all cast and crew of the film.
The film has Narain playing the male lead, after a long time in a malayalam cinema and Meghna Raj playing the female lead. Maheshinte Prathikaram starred by Fahad Fazil and directed by Dileesh Pothen is received with both hands by Malayali audience. The film had successfully completed two weeks here and in its 3rd week too it is running with steady box office returns.
This Shyam Pushkaran written and Aashiq Abu produced movie is a fun filled sweet entertainer which had given Fahad Fazil the break he needed. Last two years has been horrible for him as an actor and as a star and this film’s great success had really helped him to stage a brilliant comeback indeed. After creating waves in Kerala, the film is all set to go worldwide from this coming Friday.

As a first step of its worldwide release, the film will release in Asia-Pacific area from this coming 26th. Tri-Color Entertainments will release the film in screens across Asia-Pacific area. It includes screens at Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand, Japan, Hong Kong, Brunei. In Australia, the film will have 22 screens and in New Zealand it will have 10 screens as well. In places like Hong Kong and Brunei, it will have multiple screens and in places like Thailand, Singapore, Japan etc, it will have one scree each as well.
The film had earned more than 11 crores from its 18 days run at Kerala and in Rest of India as well it had done a good business. The film is moving towards the first solo blockbuster of Fahad Fazil’s career as well.

Mohanlal starrer upcoming film named Pulimurugan is making news right from the beginning of its shoot or may be from the day the film had announced officially. The film directed by Vysakh is said to be the biggest budget film ever made in Mollywood and it is scripted by Udaya Krishna who is popular for his works in association with Sibi K Thomas. The film is prtoduced by Tomichan Mulaku Padam who had produced Vysakh’s first film named Pokkiri Raja which had Mammootty and Prithviraj in the lead role and it was a big success as well.
Now, Tomichan Mulakupadam said to media that the Pulimurugan team is planning to get almost 3000 screens worldwide for the release of Pulimurugan. If they succeeded in getting those number of screens to release Pulimurugan, then it will be history creating moment for Malayalam Cinema. Malayalam cinema never released more than 450 screens worldwide in its history till now.

But Puli Murugan is just going above all and planning to have such a big release. Even Shankar films in Kollywood does not gets 3000 screens worldwide. But the producer of Pulimurugan says that it will have, Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, English versions and it will also release in Vietnam and China as well.
They were planning the China and Vietnam release using the connections of Peter Hein, who is the stunt master of this film. Peter Hein is a Vietnam citizen and he had connections in China as well. Let’s keep our fingers crossed for seeing that gigantic release Mollywood ever going to witness.

Dileep starrer flick Two Countries still running with decent returns from screens all over Kerala. The film directed by Shafi still has around 60 shows per day here as well. The upcoming releases like Vetta and Ithu Thanda Police which will come this Friday likely to reduce the shows per of Two Countries. But the film is already made its place in the all-time blockbuster list of Mollywood history.
As per the latest collection report, from 60 days of its theatrical run, it had grossed around 55 crore rupees from worldwide screens where it released. The Kerala gross of the film is around 34-35 crore and it is the 5th biggest grosser from Kerala alone. First was Drishyam starred by Mohanlal which had grossed around 44 crores from Kerala. Second was Ennu Ninte Moideen starring Prithviraj which grossed around 42 crore. Nivin Pauly’s Premam comes 3rd with 41 crores gross from Kerala and the Multistatrrer film Amar Akbar Anthony is the 4th one which grossed around 38 crores from here alone.

Two Countries written by Rafi is a fun riot and a complete family entertainer which explored the possibilities of Dileep-Mamta Mohandas combination again after My boss from Jeethu Joseph. In its world wide collections, Two Countries now stands in 4th position. At first position, it was Mohanlal’s Drishyam again with 67 crore Worldwide gross. Then comes Nivin Pauly’s Premam with 65 crores Worldwide gross and at 3rd it was Ennu Ninte Moideen with a gross collection around 60 crores.
Two countries can reach close to Ennu Ninte Moideen in its run till termination as of the situation it is in now.

Maheshinte Prathikaram by Dileesh Pothen, starred by young star of Mollywood, Fahad Fazil is going on smoothly in Kerala with a steady box office run. The film which had got great mouth publicity and critics reviews now considered as the best film released till date in this year.
Fahad Fazil’s performance is getting great appreciation along with the performances from many new faces. As per the latest collection reports coming in from different sources, the film had crossed 11 crore gross from 18 days of its theater run. This one is the biggest solo hit of Fahad Fazil till now in his career as well.

The film had got only an average opening on its first day. But the great reviews had given it a boost and then it had really cruised forward in box office. It had really left behind all the other releases and conquered the number one spot among the February releases in Mollywood.
If it goes like this way, within a few days it will cross the gross of Prithviraj’s Pavada which released in this year January and the biggest success in Mollywood this year. Maheshinte Pratikaram is holding all the screens it had released and expected to hold almost all of them in the coming week as well.

Charlie was one of the last releases of 2015 in Mollywood, directed by Martin Prakkat and starred by Dulquer Salmaan and Parvathy. The film got mixed response from the audience and good response from critics. But in box office it had got good success and attained a megahit status as well. In wWorldwide collection too the film had did well.
And then came the news that Pramod Films had bought the Tamil remake right of the film and they are planning to start the shoot as soon as possible as well. But they not revealed who will play the title character named Charlie played by Dulquer Salmaan in the original Malayalam version. Now there is a report coming in which says that either Vijay Sethupathy or Siva Karthikeyan will play the title character of Charlie in the Tamil remake version.

As per reports both these names are in consideration of Pramod Films who will produce this film and they said that they will make an official announcement very soon. Both Vijay Sethupathy and Siva Karthikeyan are the most promising and quick rising young stars in Kollywood with successes coming their way one after another. Siva Karthikeyan’s previous flick Rajini Murugan was the Pongal winner of this year and Vijay Sethupathy’s latest flick Sethupathy in which he had done a cop role also getting great success. Both of them had great previous years as well and have a handful of films now to complete.
This character named Charlie had given great appreciation for Dulquer Salmaan as an actor as his performance was very much refreshing as Charlie. As per reports Parvathy who played the female lead in Malayalam version, may play the same character in the Tamil version too. She had earlier essayed the same role she played in Bangalore Days in its Tamil remake Bangalore Naatkal as well.
