Anuraga Karikkin Vellam directed by debutant Khalid Rahman and written by Naveesn Bhaskar is getting great reviews from all over and emerging as the best film of this season in Mollywood. August Cinema owned by Prithviraj, Shaji Nadeshan, Arya and Santhosh Sivan had produced this movie.

Biju Menon and Asif Ali had played the lead in it and a new heroine named Rejisha Vijayan had made her debut through it. The film had opened well in box office as well. After completing his works in Telugu movie Janata Garage, The complete actor Mohanlal is all set to join the sets of Jibu Jacob directorial untitled movie, which will start filming at Calicut from July 15th. M Sindhuraj written the screenplay of the family feel good entertainer based on the short story written by James VJ, with the title Pranayopanishathu.

As per the latest report that coming in, popular actor Anoop Menon will play a prominent role in the movie. Earlier, this role was written for Biju Menon, but later Anoop Menon was roped in to play this character. There were some rumors also came that Joju George has been approached to play that character after Biju Menon pulled out due to his busy schedule.

Mohanlal plays a Panchayat secretary named Ulahannan in this movie and his wife character will be played by Meena. Her character name will be Annie. Jacobinte Swarga Rajyam fame actress Aima Sebastian will play the character of Mohanlal’s daughter in this movie. Artists like Aju Varghese, Alencier Lay, Kalabhavan Shajon, Sudheer Karamana, Nedumudi Venu etc also said to be a part of this movie.

This is Jibu Jacob’s second directorial venture after Vellimoonga, which was a blockbuster of the year 2014. This movie will be produced by Sophia Paul under the banner of Weekend blockbusters.

Anoop Menon had shared screen space with Mohanlal in movies like Rock N roll, Grandmaster and Kanal. People love this combination and now everybody can look forward to see them together on screen again.

Mohanlal, Jr NTR starrer Janatha Garage’s teaser was released 3 days back to a stupendous reception. The movie had both Malayalam and Telugu version teaser releases. Janatha Garage is a Telugu movie releasing in Malayalam only as a dubbed version. The Telugu teaser has already created records in the Tollywood industry garnering around 30 lakh views in less than 60 hours of its release. Similarly the Malayalam version teaser has also been well received with above 10 lakh views.

Incidentally Kasaba is believed to hold the record for most teaser views for a Malayalam cinema and for the fastest to hit 10 lakh views. A section of fans have been arguing in social media over the exact numbers and the question of which movie holds the records prevail.

The truth is Kasaba still holds these records because Janatha Garage is not a Malayalam movie and is only a dubbed version of the original Telugu movie. So Janatha Garage cannot be considered while taking into account the records in Malayalam cinema.

So Kasaba teaser still holds the record for the fastest to 10 lakh views and also the most viewed teaser. Kasaba hit the 10 lakh mark in 99 hours of its release. The Mammootty starrer was released this Thursday as an Eid release. The movie released to a very big opening in the box office setting a new record for the first day collections in Malayalam cinema.

Janatha Garaage also stars Rahman, Samantha, Nithya Menen in prominent roles. Malayalam’s own young star Unni Mukundan is reportedly playing the villain role in this movie directed by acclaimed filmmaker Kortala Siva. Rockstar Devu Sri Prasad is the music director for this flick scheduled to release on August 12th.

Janata Garage is the upcoming Telugu movie directed by Koratala Siva and starred by complete actor Mohanlal and Telugu star Jr. NTR. There will be Malayalam dubbed version of this film as well. The teasers of the film had released on 6th July evening. There were two teasers. One is Telugu and another is Malayalam.

Telugu teaser given importance to the character of Jr. NTR and Malayalam teaser had given importance to the character of Mohanlal. The Malayalam teaser had got a great response from here and in other words it got a never seen before kind of reception. It had surpassed the 1 million view count in YouTube in just 69 hours and it is a fastest to reach there. Even the teasers of most hyped Malayalam films did not get that much response from here. Last month Mammootty starrer movie Kasaba’s teaser got 1 million views in 99 hours.

Anushka too had played a wrestler in the movie and her character name was Aarfa. She played the wife character of Salman Khan’s Sultan Ali Khan.

The flick had already made more than 110 crore from 3 days and that too from domestic market alone. The Worldwide figure is all set cross 150 crores as well. Looks like Sultan is going to be one of the biggest hit in Indian Cinema just like Salman’s previous movie Bhajarangi Bhaijan.

The second day collection report of the movie Kasaba has been updated by the trade guides in our industry. As per reports, the movie has been raked in an amount near 1.49 crores on second day. The official team had informed onlookers Media that they had got a share of 60 lakhs from second day gross. The flick was aimed at the diehard fans of Mammootty and it seems like fans had accepted the movie with both hands. Those who loves Mammootty’s mannerisms and style will love this movie.

The movie had reportedly earned around 2.48 crores on its first day, which is a record in Malayalam now. It had surpassed the record made by the movie Kali, by Sameer Thahir-Dulquer Salmaan team this year.

Apart from Mammootty, artists like Siddique, Sambath, Maqbool Salman, Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar, Neha Saxena, Jagadeesh, Shaheen, Irshad, Alencier Lay etc had played prominent characters in this movie. Rahul Raj had managed the music department of this movie and Sameer Haq was the DOP.

At first it become the fastest Telugu movie teaser to cross 1 million views in YouTube as it had crossed that mark in just six hours.
