Yes, the first look poster of Puli Murugan has arrived and within minutes it had went viral in all social media pages, groups and platforms like Whatsapp too. The rocking first look of the film had just took the fans of Mohanlal and film lovers to another level of ecstasy and now the wait for the film is become more exciting as well. Many people can’t even wait for the release of the flick after seeing the first look as it gave them that extra adrenalin rush through their vein.

The flick has been completed its first short schedule at Kochi and now moved to Kothamangalam for another schedule. As per the news it is filming now around the Pooyamkutty forest area near Kothamangalam and filming was going on in utmost secret way possible. At first they thought about releasing the first look after Onam but there is greater chance of leaking of the shooting picture and that can ruin a surprise first look possibility for the flick. Even though mobile phones and all that had prohibited in the shooting premises they don’t still have the fear and doubt about the leaking of pictures from shooting spot. So Mohanlal and director Vysakh had decided to release the first look as early as possible.

Puli Murugan is a film with lots of surprises stored in for the spectators and it has many outdoor schedules as well. That is why they decided upon releasing the first look very soon. The film financed by Tomichan Mulakupadam will be a big budget one and slated for a Christmas release as per sources.

Actress Jewel mary is quite thrilled now and why not. She had got the opportunity to work with the Megastar of Mollywood in two back to back films and that too in her first two films. Thanks to D4 Dance programme in Mazhavil Manorama, of which she was the co -anchor of Govind Padmasoorya, she got the chance to make her debut in Mollywood through the film named Pathemari helmed by National Award winning director Salim Ahammad and she made her debut as the heroine of Mammootty.  That film is still in its post production stage and some legal issues also causing problems in its way as well. But Jewel Mary had acted in another film in that time space and it is going to be released on August 27th this month, her second film is releasing before the first film, Pathemary.

Surprisingly she is again the heroine of Mammootty in her second film titled Utopiayile Rajavu conceived by veteran director Kamal. Later Kamal himself revealed in the audio launch of the film that it was Mammootty who suggested the name of Jewel Mary as the female lead opposite to him in this film after he was so much impressed with her performance in Pathemary. It was also a surprise for her when she heard about it at first. Now she is waiting for the response from the audience about her performance in both the above mentioned movies.

There was also a news in the media that Mammootty was impatient with her while performing in Uttopyayile Rajavu and he even tried to give her blow with a ladies finger vegetable when she took so much time to complete a shot. When asked about this Jewel Mary said that it was a lighter incident and a funny one too. There is no negative about it. She got tensed while acting in a scene and the director had to take many shots and that is when Mammotty intervened and told her if she is made it wrong again he will give her one blow with the ladies finger vegetable which he got from there.

Jewel said that Mammootty and Kamal were too supportive and caring and she had learned a lot from them.

Govind Padmasoorya who is popular in the nickname GP had become a familiar name among youngsters, children and specially among young girls with his handsome looks and all round talents as an actor, singer, anchor etc and the program named D4 Dance had played a great role in this for GP as he is the anchor of this very popular Television Program.

When asked about his growing popularity he said that people love him as what he is. He always try to be genuine and not tries to act in front of anybody. That may be the reason why from grownups to children loves him. It is not an admiration for him but it is a love that everyone can feel towards a really close person. GP said that because he stands as a genuine person there is nobody to replace him and that may well be the real reason for people loving as their own. They are not loving him as an actor or singer or an anchor.

GP also said that the comparison between him and Nivin Pauly had come in the social media when Nivin came with beard in Premam and that made him almost look like GP or vice versa. That comparison was not a likable one for the fans of Nivin Pauly. GP says that he is not junior Nivin Pauly or something like that. Nivin is a star with super hit films under his belt and GP is a performer. He cannot become Nivin Pauly and Nivin cannot be GP as well. GP says that he had his own limitations and his own strengths as well. He also said that the meeting with Sai Pallavi was also an exciting moment for him and they had become really good friends after the show. She is a genuine personality as well.

Nivin Pauly to do a Tamil film this year

Nivin Pauly is now one of the most popular stars in Mollywood and he is all set to become popular in Kollywood too. There has been reports earlier that Nivin will play the lead in the Tamil version of Premam as well. But later reports came in which said that Dhanush may get the nod to play the lead in Tamil version of Premam. Then we heard another news that Surya is also interested to the Tamil version of Premam after seeing the film. Anyway it had become almost sure that it will not be Nivin who is going to do Premam Tamil version.

Then came the news that Nivin will be playing the hero of a Tamil remake of a Kannad film ‘Ulidavaru Kandanthe’ which had got film fare award. It has been said that Nivin is agreed to do the film after hearing the script from its makers and they are planning it to make it in this year itself. But some days later that news also vanished.

And the latest about Nivin Pauly’s Tamil film says that he is going to do a Tamil film this year and that will be with director Sivi Kumar who is one of the friends of Nivin for a long time. The flick is said to be a thriller subject as well. When Sivi Kumar met Nivin sometime before he told him the story and Nivin was very excited to hear the oneline of the film. Later when he heard the full script he become so much thrilled and agreed to do the film at any coast.

The report says that it will be a gem of a film and character for Nivin and they are planning to make it in Malayalam as well along with tamil looking at Nivin’s popularity here. They are making their moves to start the film in this year itself and the only problem they have is the busy schedule of Nivin Pauly in Mollywood. He is now completing Abrid Shine film and after that he said to have commitments with Jude Antony Joseph and Vinay Govind.

Atul Kulkarni is a well-known actor to all Malayalees through the film named Thalappavu conceive by Madhupal and his performance was widely appreciated as well. Atul is an actor par excellence and one of the finest actors in our country today. He had acted in south Indian as well as North Indian languages and everywhere got great applause from critics as well as from the common audience for his great portrayal of characters. But in all those above mentioned films these two actors do not have much combination scenes and we do t had the luck to see these two terrific actors on screen for long time.

But now as per reports we are in for a treat by these great actors as in the upcoming M Padmakumar directorial film named Kanal, Atul Kulkarni is playing the villain character opposite Mohanlal and both will have many combination scenes as well. It will be his 4th Malayalam film after Thalappavu, Kurukshetra and Nellikka and will be his 3rd film with Mohanlal. It will be a performance to watch out for as he is up against Mohanlal who is unarguably the best actor India ever seen in its history.

The film said to be Psycho thriller has Anoop Menon in key role as well along with Mohanlal, Atul Kulkarni and Pratap Pothen. Suresh Babu had written the script of the film which may release on this coming November as a Deepavali release. The filming is almost over now and post production may start this month itself.

There was much hype in the media about Mani Ratnam’s next project which was expected to be starring Mammootty and Aishwarya Rai Bacchhan. But Onlooker Media has a news for you that Mani Ratnam, veteran Director has got his brains on a project alongside Dulquer Salmaan and Karthi. Both the actors who are making history in the Tamil movie industry with their back to back blockbusters.

The interesting thing that is a talk in the Kollywood is the National award winner Keerthana being part of this project. Reports says, this time Keerthana has come up with a new role of being Assistant Director to Mani Ratnam to showcase her talent in direction and ofcourse learn from this successful Guru, who has given movies like Mouna Raagam, Geethanjali, Roja, Bombay, Alaipayuthey etc and last on its roll Kadal in 2013 and Ok Kanmani in 2015 respectively. This new project is entitled to be ‘Komaali’ which is not officially announced.

The wonder child Keerthana who starred in the Kannathil Muthamittal movie has turned 22 and is seriously into the directing field that she is now looking for the heroine in the movie as an Assistant Director. Keerthana who is the daughter of actor Parthiban and Seetha saw the way to cinema when she was selected to be a part in the Mani Ratnam movie Kannathil Muthamittal as a young child named Amudha co-starring Madhavan and Simran as her parents.

The excellent performance in the movie accredited her with many awards and recognition including the National award for Best Child Artist in 2003. This time this National awardee is back with her talent in Directing other than acting and it is said that the whole team is expected to select Actress Keerthy Suresh who is on the demand list for the female lead.The whole team is expected to bring out the best in this movie that it showcases the best director of Indian Film industry and the actors who are highly dedicated.

Dulquer Salmaan , on the lead is having his second film with Mani Ratnam who has gave him much more audience and fans in the other states of India. Being acclaimed in a Mani Ratnam movie is truly talent and Dulquer is on the peak of it by doing two films in a row with these amazing director. OK Kanmani which was much appreciated by the audience played a major role giving Dulquer, the title ‘Hero of Tomorrow’ after his successful debut in Vaayai Moodi Pesavum (2014) directed by Balaji Mohan and Mani Ratnam’s OK Kanmani.

Through OK Kanmani, Dulquer opposite Nithya Menon brought the memories of the Mani Ratnam movie Alaipayuthey (2000) starred Madhavan and Shalini, which was a trend during the time and now OK Kanmani has took that place by refreshing the memories of the 2000 movie Alaipayuthey and many truly believe OK Kanmani is truly the reincarnation of Alaipayuthey.

Karthi (Karthik Sivakumar) after his successful movies Madras and Komban is in the lead role along with Dulquer. Its a dream project for the audience that the actors in the lead will charm them with each and every scene in the cinema halls. The next hype will be for the female lead that would be selected by the team, where Keerthana has a serious role finding the best among the auditioners which ensures every single person has a chance to be in the Mani Ratnam project.

SS Rajamouli, the director of phenomenal hit Baahubali is about to make a sequel to his own innovative hit Eega after the completion of Baahubali-The Conclusion. Eega which got released on 2012 became one of the most successful movie in Telugu and later was dubbed to many other languages including Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi. The movie became big hit in all these languages including Malayalam.

When at the beginning of Eega, Rajamouli faced a lot of negative comments on the idea of placing a computer graphical image of a FLY as the title character of a movie. But, with his sheer brilliance and creativity Rajamouli crafted Eega to a greater dimension which was highly entertaining and engaging. This is how he answered all the prejudiced minds like Spielberg when he was about to do E T:Extra Terrestrial.

The latest buzz from Tollywood says that the ropes are tightened to embark a new journey of Eega as a sequel. The huge success of Baahubali casted Rajamouli as one of the most valued director of India.Thus if Eega 2 happens,it would for sure be a spectacular show worth a watch.
