It is the first ever award night conducted in Europe by a Malayalam channel and it was superb indeed. Charismatic personality and powerful attitude of Mammootty can kill anyone, says Kasaba actress Neha Saxena
Kasaba, the Nithin Renji Panicker written and directorial film starred by Mammootty is all set to grace the silver screens here on July 7. This action thriller will be based on the character named circle inspector Rajan Zakariah played by Mammootty. The female leads in this movie is played by Neha Saxena and Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar. Both are making their debut here in Mollywood but Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar is already popular here through her films in Tamil.
Neha Saxena is a new face here and everybody is looking forward to see her performance in this film. She had expressed her experience with Mammootty to the media. She said that the charismatic personality and the powerful attitude this man has can kill anyone and dominate anyone.
She said that he is such a handsome man that he can stand tall in front of any other actor. Neha says that she always wanted to meet him and get an autograph from him. But God had given here the opportunity to act with him and that too as his heroine. It is a great blessing and a dream come true for her.
She can’t ask for more as she got the chance to make her debut here playing the female lead opposite Mammootty.
Sabumon Abdusamad abused the brother of late Kalabhavan Mani through Facebook
Sabumon Abdusamad aka Tharikida Sabu who had made controversy last year by abusing Mohanlal one again making news for the same kind of attitude. This time he had abused late Actor Kalabhavan Mani’s brother RLV Ramakrishnan through his Facebook account. The investigation related to Kalabhavan Mani’s death is still going on and Kalabhavan Mani’s brother Ramakrishnan says from the beginning that his brother’s death is not a natural one. He has his doubts over the friends of Kalabhavan Mani like Sabumon Abdusamad and Jaffer Idukki.
Now after the report came from the lab of Hyderabad, Police had confirmed that Methyl Alcohol was found in the body of Mani which may entered his body through toxic liquor. Ramakrishnan said to media that if people like Sabumon is questioned using third degree police interrogation methods, truth will come out. Sabumon abused RLV Ramakrishnan as a reaction to this statement by him.
Ramakrishnan also said that his brother’s death was indeed a murder and people like Mani’s manager Jobi, Sabumon, the doctor who took Mani to hospital, Jafeer Idukki has involvement in this crime. As a reaction to this Sabumon had abused RLV Ramakrishnan through really bad words and he even mentioned Kalabhavan Mani’s wife in it. He said that people like Ramakrishnan did not even allowed Mani to enter in to his own house while he was alive and those are the ones who coming forward to speak for Mani now.
Sabu said that for sometimes there is a deliberate attempt going on to drag him to this case. At first he remained silent because he gave Ramakrishnan a consideration as he was recovering from his brother’s death. But there will be no such consideration from now on, says Sabumon.
Mammootty welcomed trolls on Kasaba poster with smile
Two days back, the first look poster of Mammootty starrer Kasaba was released. This Nithin Renji Panicker movie will hit the screens on July 7 this year. Mammootty playing the role of a cop in this movie and his character name is Circle Inspector Rajan Zakariah. The first look poster shows Rajan Zakariah sitting on the bumper of a police jeep with his hands stretched on the bonnet and that body posture of him had invited many trolls from social media.
Social media had trolled the first look poster with some hilarious trolls and some of them just ridiculed Mammootty’s body posture by comparing it to bat, chicken etc. It also paved the way for a fan fight in social media as well. But Mammootty had welcomed all those trolls with a smile as he had chosen some of those trolls and posted it on his official Facebook page saying that he just enjoyed those a lot.
Mammootty said that he is a kind of blown away after seeing all those trolls on his look in Kasaba first look poster. He said that he guess it is a modern face of satire. Mems and trolls used as the new whips by new generation or the digital generation. He also said that he will upload more such interesting trolls on Kasaba poster when he come across such trolls.
Kasaba is an action thriller and it is the debut venture of Nithin Renji Panicker who wrote this film as well. Actresses Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar and Neha Saxena playing the female leads in this movie which has Sambath, Siddique, Renji Panicker, Jagadeesh, Maqbool Salman etc as well.
Sai Pallavi, the Premam and Kali fame actress is all set to make her debut in Telugu film industry as per reports. Even though it is not an officially confirmed news, reports says that Sai Pallavi may do her next film in Telugu which will be directed by Shekhar Kamoola. Varun Teja will be the hero of that Telugu movie.
The team behind the film had approached Sai Pallavi with this offer and reports says that she is not yet committed to this project. But they hope that she will agree to do the movie after she reads the full screenplay which they provided for her to decide on this film.
Recently she made to news headlines as she had completed her MBBS from Georgia and become a doctor. Her last release was Kali directed by Sameer Thahir in Malayalam. Dulquar Salman was the hero of that film which become a box office success as well. After that she got an offer to play the female lead in Maniratnam- Karthi film. But later she ruled out of the project due to some changes made in the screenplay of the film related to the lead female character.
The team behind the Telugu film is planning to start it in August or September. The plot will revolve around a Telugu girl and an NRI who falls in love with her. Premam which made Sai Pallavi popular also made a great impact at Tollywood as well and she had a great fan following there too.
An allegation against actor Suriya had come from Tamil Nadu which states that the actor had assaulted an innocent boy last day. As per report, a boy named Prem Kumar was assaulted by Suriya last day when he was in the middle of the road settling an accident which involved his bike.
Prem Kumar said that he was coming on his bike after a Football match in college. Suddenly the car which was going in front him made a sudden break and the bike crashed in to the back of the car. Then, there occurred an argument between him and the lady who drove the car.
Then, actor Suriya’s car came by that way and he stopped there. He came out from the car and slapped boy on his face without asking what really happened. When people asked him why he slapped that young boy who is innocent in this issue, Suriya went away without giving any reply.
The boy had lodged a complaint against the actor in nearby police station and Police had started the investigation as well. People at the venue of that issue says that what the boy telling is true and it was a mistake from the part of Suriya. He had took the law in his hand and assaulted a poor boy without checking what really the matter which was going on there.
Dulqaer Salmaan starrer Charlie had got great reception at Japan too. The film had released there with Japanese subtitles and the flick is getting great reviews from there. Japanese people are embracing the film with both hands and they are showering praises on the impact of the film. The film started showing there on the 15th of this month and got great reviews right from the start.
Many people opined that the film gives a positive mindset after watching it and it is a beautiful film. The optimistic attitude which the film gives attracting people more towards the film. Japanese Distribution Company Dozo and Indian Distribution Company in Japan named Celluloid Japan together released this movie there with subtitles. They had posted the videos of the responses from Japanese people about this movie in their Facebook page.
Earlier they had released almost 10 Indian films there including Nivin Pauly starrer Action Hero Biju. But Charlie is the first film which they released there with Japanese subtitles.
This film directed by Martin Prakkatt and scripted by himself along with Unni R become a big hit in Kerala too. It had got almost 8 awards in State film awards and Dulquer Salmaan won the best actor award as well in State level for his performance as Charlie. The flick had got an overall collection around 40 crore reportedly.
Popular Malayalam actor Jayaram had kept his word to the family of Jisha as he came to Perumbavoor today and given 2 lakhs rupees to the mother of Jisha. Jayaram had said few days back at Aluva that he will give a part of the profit earned by his new film Aadu Puliyattam to the family of Jisha. He declared it when he came to a theater in Aluva to distribute sweets to the children of Janaseva Shishu Bhavan, who came to watch his movie Aadupuliyattam there.
Artists like Sheelu Abraham, Baby Akshara Kishore, Ramesh Pisharody also there while Jayaram had made this declaration. Jayaram said that the producers of the film had agreed to donate money to the family of Jisha. Now, he had fulfilled his words as he came to visit Rajeshwari, mother of Jisha today at Perumbavoor Taluk Hospital and handed over the money to her.
Jayaram told to Rajeshwari that there are lot of mothers in this world who are going through these kind of sufferings and many people are praying for them as well. Jayaram also said that to contribute more towards the people who needs support and care in Perumbavoor, a trust is been in its making stage which will include people from Perumbavoor. Perumbavoor is Jayaram’s home town and the actor is trying his best to help the people here in whatever ways he can.

Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar, popular Kollywood actress and the daughter of Tamil star Sarath Kumar had made her debut in Malayalam in the upcoming Mammootty film named Kasaba. This movie is scripted and directed by Nithin Renji Panicker, son of actor/writer Renji Panicker and it is his maiden venture as a film maker.
Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar is reportedly playing the character of a lady don in this thriller movie in which Mammootty plays a cop named Circle Inspector Rajan Zakariah who has some unique attitude. As per sources, her character has some negative shades. Varalakshmi expressed her experience of working with Mammootty to the media. She says she wants to know the secret behind the Youthfulness Mammootty has at this age.
Mammootty is 65 years old and still he looks a lot younger than his actual age. Many people had asked him earlier as well about how he manages to keep his looks young and how he brings such a youthful energy to his performance on screen. Varalakshmi also asked him the same question. To that Mammootty had given his usual reply. He said secrets have to be remain as secrets. That is why they are called secrets.

Priyamani had removed her engagement photo from her social media account
Popular South Indian actress Priyamani had got engaged on May 27 and the name of her would be is Musthafa Raj, who is a businessman. The love affair between the two had made to the news headlines from last year and now they had all set to marry. After the engagement, Priyamani had posted a photo of her with Musthafa from the engagement function to her Twitter account. But, people who follows her greeted it with bad comments and reactions. Then, Priyamani had removed that photo from her twitter account and later came forward with her reaction to this as well.
She said that she was very happy while sharing that photo from her happy moments with her followers. But the bad comments had really shocked her and it was really painful as well. She said that she expected the blessings from her followers while she is preparing for a new journey in her life. But it was not what really happened.
Priyamani said that it’s her life and she requested the followers to get matured first. She also said that she only have to convince her parents and her fiancé about her life and not anyone else. She reacted that those negative comments had really made her down, mentally.
Musthafa and Priyamani had met each other during an IPL match years before. Musthafa had come to the finals of D4 dance program season 2 which aired in Mazhavil Manorama, in which Priyamani was one of the judges.
